Dehu, Pune, Maharashtra - Magnificent temple and scenic beauty
This ancient city is located on the shores of the Indravati River, the birth place of the poet saint Tukaram. One of the most revered ancient poets in Maharashtra, his work is considered as the one of the greatest literary works in Maratha. The Dehu temple is the prime attraction of this place which was built by the youngest son of this great poet. Built during the 18th century, inside the temple enshrines the idols of Lord Pandurang. There is one more temple in the premises that is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, established by Ayyappa Seva Sangam.
