This is one of its kind museums in the entire Asia and was established in 1980 under the Indian Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies. Located in the scenic backdrop of Ajneri Hills, the museum is a major place of attraction for the visitors in Nashik. It houses a good collection of various photographs, replicas, artifacts, articles and researched history of Indian Currency and coins. It serves as a major destination for the tourists for the study and research of Indian Currencies.
