This is a popular Hindu shrine which is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, a manifestation of Goddess Durga. The temple is believed to be 700 years old and attracts a number of devotees to seek the blessings of the Goddess. At the entrance of the temple, there are two big statues of Lord Bhairava and Lord Hanumana. Adjoining the temple, there is a holy water tank and the people take a dip in the tank water to get rid of their sins. It is believed that a visit to this holy temple of Goddess Chamunda will bless the devotees with health and wealth and will fulfil all their wishes. Hence, a number of pilgrims visit the temple all round the year.
