Pondicherry is supposed to be the focal point of innumerable tourist places and Botanical Garden is also one of them. In 1826, this garden got commenced for the local people and this beautiful garden is situated at the vicinity to bus stand of the city. Hovering over an area of 22 acres, the garden is bestowed with different and rare collection of plants and would sure love to listen the melodious chirping of rare bird species. Thanks to C.S. Perrotet who founded this striking garden!! This garden has an interesting garden which gives place to sea living creatures like different types of fishes and marine flora.
