Lord Shiva is the main deity of Omkareshwara temple. This temple is one of the most enchanting temples of Coorg and was constructed in the 19^th century. Lingarajendra built this magnificent temple presenting the perfect example of idyllic blend of two types of architectural style – Islamic and Gothic style. This striking temple was constructed in the year 1820 and a pool with numerous and different types of fishes are there in façade of temple. This pool is quite attention-grabbing and allures lots of tourists. If we talk of its edifice, then there is one dome and four mosque towers around this temple.
