For many people QuatreBornes is nothing more than a big city constructed around the laboriously busy road connecting Flic en Flac to the M1. Its main street, St Jean Rd, is always clogged with traffic, but despite this the city is pleasingly sparkling with lots of shopping and other leisure time activities. The twice-weekly clothes market on Thursday and Sunday is definitely well worth a visit. Locals gather here from miles around to poke around the stalls, where it’s possible to find top-notch garments with almost barely visible flaws selling at low prices; do check carefully though, since quality varies extremely.
