Pinnath, Kausani, Uttarakhand - A high peak and a fantastic trekking route
Pinnath is a high peak in Kausani which is elevated at a height of 2750 meters above sea level. This fantastic spot can be reached by covering a trek route of 5 km from Kausani. The Pinnath Temple is also situated here on the peak. Overlooking the upper part of the Kausi valley, the temple is conical in structure and is dedicated to Bhairon. A door is there on the south part of the temple which is elegantly decorated with the murals of the kings carved on the walls. Various figurines of Hindu Gods and Goddesses are also designed on the ceilings and walls of the temple that look amazing. Every year a fair is also organized at the place in the month of October that gather large crowd.
