Pandava Caves, Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh - Ancient home of five Pandavas
Today’s one of the most-liked attractions in Pachmarhi was supposed to be shelter of Pandavas during their exile period.Being the construction of 6th to 7th century, it holds great attraction in itself. Nagpanchmi, one of the famous festivals of Hindus, is celebrated with great joy and ecstasy every year. As the name suggests, Pandava Caves are cluster of five caves each belonging to five Pandavas and this how the protected monument got its name. The place is highly visited by the tourists because of two reasons – to witness the ancient abode of five Pandavas and also for seeing the relic of ancient times.
