Those who want to get the best example of absolute pattern of Cantonment Church, then no need to go here and there as it is situated in Coonoor named St. George’s Church. Colonel J.T.Boileau was the main designer of the Church and this sacred site was constructed in 1826.  The main attraction of this Church is its deep ochre stucco with white colored coverings. To enter this Church, one has to enter through atrium which has holes. Other than its exquisite beauty, the surroundings of Church are also quite alluring and serve as the reason to visit this spot.
