Coonoor!! A wonderful location situated at the foothills of Nilgiris encircled with lush green tea plantations and mind-boggling picturesque. Ooty is the famous destination in the list of hill stations and Coonoor fortunately situated very close to this place. Nestled at high altitude of more than 1938 meters, Coonoor is blessed with mild and pleasant climate and even better than the Ooty.

Located only at the distance of 19 kms from Ooty, Tamil Nadu, it is not at all an illusion to address Coonoor as the dreamland on the Earth. Because of its great natural scenic beauty, Coonoor holds the significant place in the top three hill stations of Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu – Ooty, Coonoor and Kotagiri. Coonoor is also situated on the toy train line just akin to that of Ooty. Thus, a ride on toy train just near the Coonoor is an invincible experience of your life. What a pleasure to move all along through the roads enclosed with greenery on both the sides!!

People of Coonoor are really amiable and jovial by behavior. The most common tribe that could be seen in this awesome hill station is Coon tribe. Usually, one could see the common use of Tamil and English language for mutual conversation. Therefore, the strong influencing culture of Coonoor also draws the attention of lots of people from all over the world.
