Narada Kund, Badrinath, Uttarakhand - A hot water bathing kund
NaradaKund is a religious spot located near the Tapt Kund in Badrinath. It is the holy site where Adi Shankaracharya recovered the idol of Lord Vishnu. The water in the kund is very hot and hence it is not recommended to take long bath into the pond. The devotees just take a dip here before taking the darshan of the deity in the temple. It is said that this kund was named after Narada Muniwho wrote Narada Bhakti Sutra at this site. The enticing natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere of the place draws a number of tourists to the Narada Kund.
