The Khalsa College is a significant educational organization, which was built in 1892. Covering an area of around 1.2 sq. Km, the campus is situated 8 km away from the Amritsar town center on the Amritsar-Lahore main road. This institution was instituted by Bhai Ram Singh, the most important patron of the Mayo School of Arts, Lahore, with the help of Engineer Dharam Singh Gharjakhia. The major construction of the college reflects Indo-Saracenic architecture and replicates the Indian and Mughal construction.
