The Gurudwara Pipli Sahib is an admired tourist attraction, which was built in the reminiscence of the fifth Sikh guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji. This Gurudwara is situated about 1.5 km west of Amritsar railway station, in Putlighar. The Gurudwara owes its name to the huge Pipal tree, which once used to stand at this point. This Gurudwara is linked to the Sher Shah Suri Marg near Putlighar by a 150 m long road. Basant Panchmi is the major celebration, which is organized in this Gurudwara.
