Also known as Kalahasti Falls, Kalhatti Falls is another fantastic waterfall to be seen in Kudremukh. The water here falls from a height of 12 meters and offers a memorable experience to be felt amidst the bewitching beauty of the nearby sylvan region of Kemmanangudi. Apart from serene surroundings and captivating charm, the falls is also known as a religious place. An ancient temple is located here between the gaps in the rocks which is said to be built during the period of Vijayanagar Empire. The locals also associate this place with Agasthya, a great Hindu saint.
