Best Season & Best time to visit Kudremukh

Kudremukh owes a moderate andsalubriousall round the year with an average temperature of 10 to 35 degree C. The best time to visit the city is from October to May.

 

Summers extend from March to May with temperature varying from 32 degree C to 37 degree C. The time is quite good to plan a visit to the town as the days are warm and trekking and spotting animals can be done in the summers. However, cotton clothes are quite comfortable.

 

Winter begins from November and lasts till February with temperature ranging from 14 to 33 degree C. Though, during extreme cold conditions it may drops down to 10 degree C but days are warmer and pleasant making the season an ideal time to enjoy the wonderful sightseeing in Kudremukh.

 

Kudremukh receives heavy rainfall in the monsoon season i.e. from June to October. The annual rainfall recorded in the region is around 7000 mm and the entire landscape becomes green and verdant. But due to inconvenience caused by heavy downpours and precipitation, the season is not considered good enough to take a visit to the town.
