Reach Kangra by Rail
The head quarter of Kangra is Dharamshala which is well connected with rail services. The nearest railway station to Kangra is at Pathankot which is about 17 km from Dharamshala. A luxury train named ‘Kangra Queen’ is also introduced by Indian Railway that runs between Pathankot and Palampur and provides the travelers some of the most enchanting views of scenic landscapes of the region.
Reach Kangra by Bus
Kangra is well connected by roads by the National Highway no. 20 and also with the other states. A number of good buses run to Kangra from Delhi and Chandigarh. Various state buses also connect the town from major cities like Manali, Shimla, Pathankot and Dehradun.
Reach Kangra by Air
The nearest airport to Kangra head quarter is Gaggal airport which is about 12 km from Dharamshala and 7 km from Kangra town. Regular taxi facility is available from the airport to Kangra which generally charges Rs. 300 from Gaggal.
