This historical site is placed on the south west side of Nathdwara. Haldighati is famous for its battle held between Akbar and Maharana Pratap in 1576 AD. Therefore, Haldighati is very important part of past history and that is the reason for its popularity. If historical importance is kept aside, then also it has many things to impress its visitors. Like, there is a Chattri made of white marble and is devoted to the strong warrior, Maharana Pratap and his gallant charger, Chetak. But, the trip to Haldighati becomes more interesting and exciting if done through jeep driving!!
