Ettumanoor temple in Kozhikode is also among one of the oldest temples and the main deity of the temple is Lord Shiva. The temple is quite magnificent and ideal for worshipping Lord Shiva. The temple was constructed in 16^th century and is adorned with the rich and attractive carvings throwing light on the events of Bhagwad Gita and Ramayan. Also, the temple serves to be best example of Kerala architectural style and the most enticing part of the temple is the carving of Nat Raja on the walls of the temple. In this temple, the famous festival of Kozhikode named “EzharaponnaanaEzhunallathu” is celebrated every year.
