The city of Dharamshala is located in Himachal Pradesh, on the elevated slopes in the upper part of the Kangra Valley. The Dhauladhar Mountains serve as its background and the city presents a charming sight. Dharamshala is alienated into two dissimilar parts, the Upper Dharamshala and the Lower Dharamshala. The city serves as the head office of the Tibetan government in exile. There are a number of monasteries and holy places in Dharamshala, which serve as the major attraction for the travelers approaching here.
