This is a celebrated holy place for the Hindus. It’s situated in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, 10 km away from Palampur. The shrine is located on the banks of the Baner River. The temple was constructed during the 16th century. The temple is devoted to Chamunda Devi. The deity is one of the forms of Ganga Devi and Shakti. The temple is considered as the abode of Shakti and Shiva. The area is densely forested consisting of oak trees that add more to its beauty. Every year a festival is celebrated here in the temple which is visited by many travelers.
