Akhand Chandi Palace is a major tourist attraction in Chamba and was built by Raja Umed Singh in the 17th century. It features a green colored roof which was redesigned by the engineers of British. The entire structure of the palace showcases a rich blend of British and Mughal architecture. There is also a darbar hall and a zenana mahal inside the palace which draws the attention of the tourists due to its beautiful architecture and interior. Later in 1958, the palace came under the hold of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and was opened for the visitors as Chamba’s place of interest.
