The summer season lasts from March to June and the climate is warm but not scorches. The maximum temperature during summers is 30 degree C whereas the minimum temperature falls up to 14 degree C. These months are preferred good enough to explore the quaint town.

 

Winters in Chamba are quite cooler and during the coldest months of December and January, the temperature may decrease to 4 degree C and snow falls may also occur. In the lower regions, the temperature goes below freezing point making the nights extreme chilly. Thus, the months are generally avoided by the tourists to visit Chamba.

 

Monsoon lasts from July to October with average rainfalls. The weather becomes cloudy and the whole valley becomes immensely stunning. The tree leaves being washed away by the rain water, gushing streams and cascading falls create a magical effect on the mind and soul of the visitors. It is indeed the ideal time for the honeymooners to plan a tour to the romantic stopover of Chamba.
