Situated in the province Clare, the Cliffs of Moher are amongst the most exciting places to see in Ireland. The cliffs consist mostly of beds of Namurian shale and stonework, with the oldest rocks being found at the bottom of the crags. One can see 300 million year old river channels wounding through the foot of the cliffs .There are many animals existing on the cliffs, most of them birds. Such wild, awe-inspiring beauty can't go without claiming its toll, and as you stroll along the 8-kilometer elongate of the Moher Cliffs, every vigilant step you take is accompanied with utmost awe over their treacherousness and grandeur.
