Vijaya Stambh, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan - A massive tower located inside the Chittorgarh Fort

The victory Tower or Vijaya Stambh was constructed by Maharana Kumbha in the 14^th century. This huge tower is 37 m high and comprised of 9 floors which are tastefully carved with the figures of various Hindu Gods and Goddesses.  The tower lies inside the massive Chittorgarh Fort and earlier this place was used as the cremation ground for the royal male members. Built in an elegant style, the fort boasts of a wonderful architecture along with historical significance.
