Actually, Scottish Missionaries took effortless measures to place an idea of constructing such an amazing sacred building and finally, their efforts resulted into a magnificent church in 1891. In former times, the lectures presented in the Church were used to be in ten types of languages namely Lepcha, Sanskrit, Chinese, Bengali, Nepali, Bodo, Hindi, English, Tibetan and Urdu.
