The Terra Cotta Warriors in China have to be the most revolutionary and out of this world discovery of the 20th century in China. The Terra Cotta Warriors in China were revealed in 1974, during the process of digging a well. They were exposed in Xian, which is situated in the Shaanxi Province of China in the Lintong County. The Terra Cotta Warriors in China is now abided in the 16,300 Sq Meter "Museum of Qin Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses". All the recovered warriors and livestock were funerary figurines that were aimed to escort and defend the Emperor in the battle in the next life. Specially made by the first Emperor of the Qin Dynasty, Qin Shi Huang, soon after he ascended the throne at the age of 13, the Terra Cotta Warriors in China were made for his crypt. The Terra Cotta Warriors in China took 11 years to make and were completed in approximately 235 BC.
