Situated 29 km northwest of Kathmandu conurbation, the magnificent holiday area of Kakani features attractions ranging from gorgeous alpine panorama to the splendid Himalayan vista chiefly of the Ganesh Himal massif. Kakani is situated 29 km north west of the capital city Kathmandu and is at an elevation of 2002 meters. It features one of the most gorgeous sceneries and peaks of this area. The key attractions range from the gorgeous alpine landscape to the wonderful landscape of the Himalayas. The main attraction here is the Ganesh Himal upland.
