Dedicated to the Goddess Annapurna, Harsiddhitemple holds a significant place among the galaxy of ancient temples of the holy city of Ujjain. It houses a beautiful dark vermilion colored idol of Annapurna along with the idols of Goddess Mahalaxmi and Saraswati. The temple got destroyed in earliest times and was reconstructed during the Maratha rule. There are two huge pillars in the temple premises decorated with lamps that exemplify the architecture of Maratha period and present a fantastic spectacle when lit up during Navratris.
