Gondola Lift, Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir - Cable car
Gondola Lift is a wonderful cable car system situated at a height of 1350 feet above sea level. This lift ride is divided into 2 sections- one is from Gulmarg to Kongdori and second is from Kongdori to Apharwat. The Gondola station at Kongdori lies at a height of 3099 m and at the Apharwat station, it lies at 3979 m. The entire ride across the majestic hilly terrains and gushing valleys offers an exhilarating view of the scenic surroundings and a memorable experience to the tourists in Gulmarg. The exciting cable ride also passes across Khilanmarg, a beautiful meadow blessed with colorful flowers.
