Edinburgh Castle is visited yearly by more or less one million people, is an ancient monument in the United Kingdom. Every tourist mainly those on a limited itinerary should stopover the Castle, not only because of the historical significance of this extraordinary citadel and previous majestic residence, but because it tenders such grand panoramic vistas of the city. It is from these fortifications, for example, that the tourist instantly realizes the remarkable countryside of Edinburgh, located between sea and hills.  Within the boundaries of the Castle, there are loads to see.
