Situated in the sector 3 of Bokaro, the city Park is a beautiful place to spend some time with your family. It has an artificial lake having three Japanese styled artificial islands that beckon the visitors especially on weekends for picnicking. A small guest house and restaurant is also there. A small beautiful garden was also introduced here in 2007 that adds to the beauty of the place. It also acts as a venue for the famous Basant Mela held in the month of February every year and also for the Chhatth Puja held in October or November. Moreover a toy train also runs in the park boundaries for some time every year.
