Chandraprabhu Temple is one of the main attractions of Jaisalmar and is the most exceptional Jain Temple. It was constructed in 1509 AD and is situated at the Golden Fort of Jaisalmer. This temple holds historical importance as it was the first temple of 15^th -16^th century’s temples and this temple is dedicated to Chandraprabhuji, the Jain Prophet and the 8^thTirthankara. The temple is so magnificently built with the help of red sandstone that every visitor reach here can’t remain untouched with its architectural style. The designs and pillars of the temple are constructed in geometrical pattern and displays wonderful example of superb architecture.
