Best Season & Best time to visit Jaisalmer

Most commonly, Jaisalmer faces hot and dry weather because of its location in TharDesert. Jaisalmer is very hot in summers and the temperature ranges from 25degreesC to 42degreesC during this period. Jaisalmer faces summers in the months from March to May.

 

Winters of Jaisalmer are quite pleasant and favorable. Day temperature of Jaisalmer during winters falls to 24degreesC and in nights, it falls to 7 and 8degreesC. Jaisalmer faces winter season during the months Mid November to February end.

 

Monsoon in Jaisalmer is very negligible and receives very scanty rainfall throughout the year.

 

Therefore, best time to visit Jaisalmer is from the month October to March. Though, Jaisalmer is fully crowded with lots of tourists throughout the year. Especially, tourists who want to visit Jaisalmer for adventure and excitement, then the full year is best for them to visit Jaisalmer. In February, Desert festival is held with lots of cultural programs. So, if you want to enjoy it, then sure make a visit to Jaisalmer in February. Ramdevra Fair is organized in September for attracting and alluring lots of tourists from all over the world to Jaisalmer.  Better to avoid the visit in summer as at that time in Jaisalmer sun is at its hottest!!
