Bhairavnath Temple, Rajmachi, Maharashtra - An ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Bhairavnath Temple is a significant religious attraction in the town of Rajmachi. The temple is situated in the Shreevardhan Fort and is site is known as Dhak by the local devotees. The diety of Shiva here is worshipped as Bhairav and the architecture of the temple resembles as that of the Shiva temples of the region of Konkan. Nesltled amidst the serene ambience in the beautiful backdrop of thick forest region, the temple is visited by a number of visitors after crossing a slippery path.
