Thangkharang Park is a beautiful park and a popular viewpoint located at a distance of about 12 km from Cherrapunji. The park houses various species of plants and trees which are developed and maintained by the State Forest Department. There is also a greenhouse and a wonderful little fountain inside the park. With a calm ambience and scenic locales, the park acts as a great resting place and a lovely picnic spot for the people of all the ages. Most of the visitors come here to enjoy the mesmerizing viewpoint of the nearby plains of Bangladesh and also the panoramic view of the Kynrem Falls that cascades down in the three steps across the hills.
