Situated at a distance of 127 kms from Aizawl, DampaRengpui is the famous tiger reserve. So, those who are fond of watching tigers in bulk must not miss this wonderful place of interest in Mizoram. But, it is advisable to book your room in advance in the Govt. Lodge as the lodge has only two rooms. Also, for exploring this astonishing spot, one has to take permission from the forest office, who mainly resides in the West Phaileng. The forest is too dense and deep, so don’t dare to move all alone as it may be dangerous!! Take the local guards with you.
