Rungdil Lake is an artificial lake situated only at distance of 150 kms from Aizawl. This beautiful lake covers an area of 3 hectares. Literally, the word “Rungdil” means “Lake of Partridges” and it totally justifies this as it is home to innumerable partridges or Rungdil birds.. The lake is bifurcated into two separate parts and is enclosed with dense deciduous forests which results in heart-throbbing scenes.
