In the 16^th century, the foundation stone of this enormous palace was kept. It is assumed to be the largest palace in the Rajasthan. The reflection of City Palace in the Picholla Lake is really spell-binding. Big giant fort walls are there to protect City Palace and this palace sets perfect example of an architectural delight with big domes, arches, pillars and terraces. The style of architecture of this City Palace belongs totally to Mewar. The City Palace is famous for its fine paintings, gigantic Silver doors, mirror work, wonderful gardens with breathtaking fountains. Visitors can visit this palace on any of the working days between 9.30 am to 4.30 pm. Really, sounds great!!!
