NavNalandaVihar is a modern Centre of Buddhist preaching and was setup by Bihar Government in 1951. The center puts sincere efforts in order to spread the ancient culture and tradition to the young generation. Located at the Lotus Pond in Bihar,the center mainly works in the field of research and education of Buddha religion and Pali script. Indians as well as Foreigner students from various countries such as Japan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Tibet etc come here to get deep knowledge of the Buddhist and the other ideologies.The main aim behind establishing this institute is to bring back the old statusof Nalanda as a seat of teaching and learning.
