Moses Mountain is the place where Moses acknowledged the directives made by God. Being a significant prophet in the Bible, Moses and this mount has played a momentous part in the history or Egypt. Most of the tourists embark on a pilgrimage to witness this sacred place and revive the past. Well-known in the Bedouin custom that this is the mountain where God passed his edicts to the Israelites after being liberated from slavery and one can witness numerous religious settlements in this area. Political, edifying and sacred motives were the reason for people to hoist to the Moses Mountain. The Georgians established temples in the fifth century and it said that one can still find few Georgian manuscripts in the place.
