Meditation Tree is the sacred banyan tree which was planted by Sathya Sai Baba in the holy ambience of the ashram. He kept a thick metal plate at the tree root in order to increase the brooding spirit of the people who contemplate at the site. The place is featured as a significant zone for mediation purpose and separate areas of men and women are distributed to meditate near the tree. It is also designated as a silent zone where people sit in contemplation.
