The temple was developed in the nineteenth century by an energetic Jain industrialist named Seth Hathee Singh. The temple is dedicated to 15th Jain Apostle- Dharmnath. The temple is an architectural wonder built with white marbles. It has been decorated with a wonderful row of walkway containing 52 shrines, each one with a lifelike of a Tirthankar. It contains the stone sculpture of 14th Tirthankar. The temple is a two-storied structure with a multifaceted veranda on its three facets. There are beautifully carved out galleries on its two sides. This temple in Ahmedabad is one of the magnificent Jain temples of India.
