Kutch Bustard Sanctuary is also known as Lala Parjan Sanctuary, the place is home to the extensive species of the Indian Bustard. Located amidst the extensive woodlands of Kutch, it is an ideal place for the wildlife lovers to get mesmerized by the rustic splendor and beauty of the nature. Great Indian Bustard is a huge bird with long neck and elongated legs. The sanctuary has been declared as an indigenous home to this bird in 1992 and now offers a great visual surprise to the visitors. Some other rare species of birds and animals are also inhabited there such as chinkaras, jungle cats, nilgai and Indian wolf etc which make this place a retreat for the nature connoisseurs.
