Khardung La Pass is, undoubtedly, the main highlight of Nubra Valley. It is situated at an elevation of 18,380 ft from the sea level. Popularly known as “Pass of Lower Castle”, Khardung La Pass is the only connectivity of Leh with Nubra Valley. This pass offers great scenic views and stunning picturesque. It is also a gateway to Siachen Glacier, which is situated only at the distance of 40kms from Nubra Valley. Breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and deep valley carrying very thin stream, the beauty of Khardung La Pass is really spell-binding. Reaching at the top and capturing the views of Ladakh towards the south and Karakoram Range towards the north is great experience!
