Best Season & Best time to visit Chandigarh

In Chandigarh, summers are extremely hot and are not favorable time to visit the city. The monsoon is highly uncertain with very low amount of rains. Throughout the summers and the monsoons, the weather is very humid. During the autumn and the winter, the weather is relatively cool and perfect to move around the city. From the months of August to November, the weather is pleasant here. Winters are very chilling however. Winter nights and mornings are intolerable due to extremely low temperature. 

 

The period between mid-August and November can be the best time when one can plan a visit to Chandigarh. During this time, the weather is pleasant. It’s neither too hot nor too cold. While planning a trip to the city, the summer season should be avoided, as it could be very hot sometimes. As the temperature drops after the monsoons, the city is flooded with the tourists. In the winter season, the tourism is generally on boom with tourists coming from different parts of the world. Foreign tourists too love to visit this beautiful city of gardens and visit Chandigarh in large numbers during the winters.
