Bheemeshwari Wildlife Sanctuary near the Mandya district is present  between the Barachukki, Mekedatu and Gaganachukki falls . Mahseer fishes are widely found here and it is a calm peaceful picnic spot. There are a lot of angling activities done here. Animals like the leopards, jackals. crocodiles, and boars can be spotted here. Birds like the kingfisher, ibis and heron are also here. Bird watching, angling are the major sports activities of this place. This place is a great option for the tourists to rest and is a place of relaxation among the tourists.
