The Bodhi Temple complex holds a number of attractions which are quite significant to the devotees due to their association with Lord Buddha. One such place is the Rajayatna tree which is located to the south east of the temple. It is the spot where Buddha spent his seventh week of the meditation before enlightenment. Moreover, it is also the location where two Burmese merchants took shelter for some time and coined the hymn of ‘Buddham Sharnam Gachchami’. It is the final spot at the temple complex and is demarcated with a stone plaque.
