Ochira, Kollam, Kerala - A famous pilgrimage destination

Ochira is a unique pilgrim destination located at a distance of 34 km from Kollam. The specialty of this place is that there is no deity or idol placed here in the temple of Lord Parabrahman. An annual festival of Ochirakali is celebrated here in the mid of June month. During the festival, the men dress as warriors with having swords and shields and perform martial dance while standing in water.
