Ladys Seat, Yercaud, Tamil Nadu - A popular viewpoint

Ladys Seat is the name given to a cluster of rocks located on the south west of Shevaroy Hills overlooking ghat winding Ghat road. The locals believe that an English lady of British period used to spend her evenings here while watching the picturesque views of the surroundings. A viewing tower with a telescope is also built here from where the visitors can enjoy the eye catching view of the entire hill town. Moreover, the point also offers spectacular view at night when innumerable lights twinkle in the Salem town.
