At a distance of 13 km from Alibag, this is a popular temple to be visited by the tourists in the town. Located on a 900 feet high hill, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva whose 54 feet high idol is placed in the premises. In order to reach this ancient temple, one has to climb a flight of 5000 stairs. Various small temples are also located inside the main temple premises dedicated to Hindu gods and goddesses. The Pushkarna Kund is located behind the temple but the visitors are not allowed to go there.
